Usage and billing rules
Terms of Service
Subtitle Translator is intended for lawful subtitle localization and review workflows. Use of the service means you have permission to upload and process the subtitle content you submit.
1. Usage limits
Usage is limited by the source character allowance and file limits listed on the pricing page. The free workflow uses the trial allowance and stops before overage; the current product does not promise unlimited or uncapped use.
- One subtitle file at a time in the free workflow
- No hidden overage or silent autoscaling
- Quota stops before a paid job can exceed the selected plan
2. Billing
Billable characters are calculated from source characters multiplied by the number of target languages selected for a job.
The pricing page is the public source of truth for allowances, file limits, and retention windows. If product behavior changes later, the public billing copy has to change with it at the same time.
3. Current live product
A capped free workflow is available without payment. Paid checkout opens for signed-in users through Creem, while quota ownership and billing remain tied to the selected plan instead of hidden overage.
That means the public product explains the workflow, rights expectations, and billing limits before it processes real payment volume.
Customers use nosme as the product surface, but the merchant and billing operator for paid checkout is AI Master.
Additional prohibited-content and abuse rules are published in the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Abuse and automation
Bulk abuse, credential misuse, content without rights clearance, and attempts to bypass quota or billing controls are grounds for suspension.
- Automated scraping or scripted quota evasion
- Uploading subtitle material without distribution rights
- Manipulating the public billing flow to avoid usage controls
